Fernando Cerdán

Fernando Cerdan obtained the engineering degree in telecommunication in 1994 from the Polytechnic University of Catalunya and received the Ph.D. degree from the same University in 2000.In 1996 he started working towards a Ph.D. degree in telecommunication supported by a national grant. He is currently a full professor at the Polytechnic University of Cartagena.
From 2002 to 2005 was vice-dean at the Telecommunications School in charge of international and company relationships. From 2006 is the head of the department of information technologies and communications.
Most of his published papers are in the field of traffic control, service integration and QoS in wired and wireless data networks, although his current interest also includes learning technologies and application development.
